Just around the corner, you will find Marnixplaats and Leopold de Waelplaats, two of the city’s most charming squares, filled with hip bars, great restaurants with outdoor terraces and nice cozy cafés. It is the ideal location to explore Antwerp on foot. Just a ten-minute walk to the Nationalestraat, the Groenplaats and the historical center of Antwerp. 

The area was one of the first to become gentrified with the renewal of the “Leien” and the opening of the new courthouse. The “Leien” is one of the most important traffic arteries in the city and is located close to the apartment which is very beneficial for your daily commute. In 2019, the brand new, urban park in the riverbed opened. This area is designed to exercise, play, or just take in the calm of the water.
