Marnixplein is a beautiful rental in Antwerp south. It is a spacious loft-style apartment with 1 bedroom for expat rental. Located just a few meters away from the Kasteelpleinstraat, this apartment could be your perfect location for the daily commute. The modern designed apartment has unique features. The apartment is laid out in a rectangle which allows a lot of natural light through the front and back windows. The glass doors that divide the living room with the kitchen are great to keep cooking and relaxing separate.
When you enter this spacious, 80m² apartment, you can not help noticing the natural light that brightens up the room. You enter through the living room which is equipped with a comfortable couch. From the living room, you walk through the arches into the bedroom that has a conveniently installed desk. The double bed in the bedroom comes with all bedding included.
On the opposite side, you will walk through the unique glass doors into the kitchen and dining area. The modern kitchen is equipped with all the necessary tools for every meal. The dining table sits up to six people and is a true eye-catcher in the apartment. The hardwood floors in the apartment are easy to maintain and give a sleek look throughout. This rental in Antwerp is just steps away from the Marnixplaats which is home to a very impressive statue of Neptune. Around this square, you will find some of the hippest bars in town. On every corner, you can find a bar for all kinds of people from all steps in life. If one square full of bars isn’t enough, in the opposite direction you will walk to the Mechelsplein. Here you can not only find bars but also the entrance of the botanical garden. When you cross the botanical garden, you will end up in the high-end shopping and theatre district of Antwerp. This area is defined by high-end boutiques but also houses all of Antwerp’s theatres.
The apartment is located on the border of Antwerp South and the historic center. It is walking distance to anything that would attract you in this gorgeous city. The area was one of the first to become gentrified with the renewal of the “Leien”. Public transport is available on every corner and it is quite easy to move around the city from this location within 15 minutes or less. The location is ideal for the expat in Antwerp.
The apartment is perfectly located for the explorer. In every direction, you will find something new to find and you are just mere steps away from historic and architectural masterpieces. If you are tired of the city, you can be on the highway within less than 10 min.
The art lover would love the 10-minute stroll the Museum Mayer Vandenbergh. This museum hosts some masterpieces of medieval art. It immerses you in a very special, intimate, homely atmosphere. You will be introduced to a wonderful collection and to the man who assembled it on his own. But most importantly, it is home to the world-famous Mad Meg by Pieter Bruegel.
