The studio is located just walking distance from: Hoboken city centre, nature park Hobokense Polder, socio-cultural hotspot De Blikfabriek and public transport. Tram (19min), train (15min) or boat (27min) take you to the centre of Antwerp.

There is an excellent connection to the Ring Road, the A12 motorway and tram and bus. At 15 minutes cycling
you are at Antwerp-South and a 5-minute walk away at the gigantic
creative complex of the Blikfabriek with the very cosy Cantin.

The Portugezenhoek in Hoboken is a pleasant multicultural neighbourhood adjacent to Antwerp-South and to the green Hoboken Polder on the Scheldt, a beautiful area for walking. Great connections to the Singel, De Ring and the A12. The Kioskplaats is the main shopping street (within walking distance) where you will find a Carrefour Supermarket, a Kruidvat and other shops, bakeries and cafes can be found.

The tram stops behind the corner and it only takes a few stops to get to the centre of Antwerp. You can also get there by bike in 15 minutes. A 5-minute walk takes you to the huge cultural complex (30,000 m2) of the Blikfabriek. Especially in summer, this is a pleasant place to be.

Hoboken was originally known as an industrial working-class neighbourhood in the southern edge of Antwerp. In recent years, the neighbourhood has been greatly upgraded. It has a cosy village centre with shops, restaurants and supermarkets, you can take long walks in the green Hoboken Polder and public transport takes you to the centre of Antwerp in 15 minutes.

You can take the train, tram or boat to Antwerp city centre.
Tram (19min): walk down Krekelstraat to Antwerpsesteenweg. There you can take tram 4 at the Draaiboom stop.
Train (15min): The Station is located at 152 Berkenrodelei, a 10-minute walk away.
Boat (27min): You can take the ferry to Kruibeke at Leo Bosschartlaan 1, half an hour’s walk away. From there, take the water bus to the medieval castle ‘Het Steen’ in the historic centre of Antwerp.
