The entrance to the apartment is very special. A narrow round staircase brings you to the second floor of the building. You enter the apartment through the kitchen, which is very stylish and made with the best materials. All the comfort is available: dishwasher, cutlery, etc . The kitchen table is a beautiful antique wooden piece of art. Through the kitchen you enter the amazing living room. Roof windows offer a spectacular view of the cathedral. The living room gives access to the private terrace. The apartment is a duplex. On the second floor there is the bedroom and the bathroom, again, with a great view on the cathedral.

This apartment is truly special. You feel the touch of the famous artist Axel Vervoordt. He really brought his apartment to life. We especially enjoyed the furniture and the views from the terrace, but this apartment is an overwhelming experience. This apartment was personally checked and visited by Globexs.

Location details

The location of this apartment is brilliant. The best possible spot to reside in Antwerp. It is impossible to be more central. The roof windows offer a great view on the Antwerp Cathedral. The Vlaeykensgang is a small historic alley and a throw-back to the late Middle Ages, a time when many streets weren’t wider than a doorway. The alley was created in 1591 and today it is a quiet refuge from the hectic city centre. There are 2 entrances: in the Hoogstraat and in the Oude Koornmarkt, a former corn-market. The entrance, at number 16, is no wider than a doorway, so make sure you don’t walk past it!
