The subway is 5 minutes away (Santutxu exit Zabalbide) and you can take the bus to the University of Leioa at the Town Hall or in Santutxu. There are several EUSKOTREN suburban trains with stops in Casco Viejo (Zazpi Kaleak), Atxuri or Abando and BILBOBUS bus lines (clicking on this link you can see the lines with the closest stops) and BIZKAIBUS, as well as the EUSKOTRAN streetcar to reach all of Bilbao and its surroundings that stops at the Arriaga theater or in Atxuri.

There are several supermarkets in Zabalbide street and all services very close (banks, pharmacies, health center, market ...) in the Casco Viejo and Santutxu.
