The Alhóndiga of Bilbao, a former century-old wine store, has been converted into a cultural center by the French designer Philippe Starck after an investment of 75 million euros. This area is the trendy center of Bilbao. You will find plenty of things to do within walking distance. The apartment itself is located a mere one-minute walk from the Azkuna Zentroa.

The construction of the Azkuna Zentroa began in May 2001 with the demolition of the interior structure, but with respect for the facade and the creaking that holds it. Inside, three brick-lined cubes have been built and suspended on 43 different columns. The total area of 43,000 square meters holds 8 cinemas, auditorium, library, exhibition hall, gym, swimming pool, shop, restaurants, and underground parking.
