Massie is a beautiful furnished apartment for rent in London, a city well known for its busy, fun-loving but frenetic pace. However, you’ll have the luxury of this quiet, calm location in a cul-de-sac street, with tall leafy trees at its closed off end. But don’t worry as there’s plenty to do locally.
We can go straight into this fabulous ground floor flat for rent in London, and you’ll immediately notice the splendid amount of natural light the whole place is bathed in. This is thanks to the wonderfully large windows you’ll find throughout the flat, of which the big bay windows in the main living space are just the beginning.
The décor is a tasteful twinning of modern, clean, pristine white walls with dashes of bright, lively colours supplied by a comfy sofa and rug, with that of a classical, antique, decorative marble mantelpiece and the wonderfully homey flooring of exposed solid pinewood. Opposite your sofa you’ll find a smart TV to flip through Netflix for our favourite films and series, whilst to your right you’ll see a contemporary, simply designed dining set of table and four chairs, at which you may sit down to devour that delicious dinner you’ve just prepared in your fully equipped kitchen.
Your kitchen is conveniently located in one continuous line along the back wall with a clean white, ceramic tiled backsplash running the length of it. There are plenty of cupboards and an oven and gas hobs for your creative cuisine, a washing machine, a fridge, a toaster and for that quintessential English obsession – tea, a kettle – as an expat in London you’ll soon get used to it!
Your apartment for rent in London would not be complete without somewhere to lay your head, after a hard days’ night – of work and celebration. You have two bedrooms, both of which contain a double bed and storage space for clothing etc. One is a little larger, so you may want to reserve the other for your guests.
Your bathroom is wonderfully bright and clean and continues the theme of blending the classical – a lovely fixture surrounding the mirror, with the thoroughly modern ceramic tiles, as found in the kitchen. You’ll also be able to enjoy a soothing soak in the full-size bathtub, conveniently fitted with a shower. There’s also a radiator in your bathroom, and in fact, there’s central heating throughout this fantastic flat for rent in London.
As I mentioned earlier, there’s plenty do and see in your immediate neighbourhood. Massie road is located in East London, not too far from the centre, in the borough of Hackney. It’s a great place to appreciate the myriad mix of cultural diversity we thrive on, and as an expat in London you’ll really enjoy the benefits of being in the thick of it. There is a plethora of places to eat, drink and get merry, including a Michelin starred restaurant within walking distance.
Why not have a look here at Great places to eat in or Brilliant bars and pubs to go to near Massie road. Check out the pub on the park, which overlooks London fields – your local park, less than 10 minutes away, where you can also have a swim in the open air Olympic sized heated Lido, a pool open all year round. Hackney Central station is your nearest Rail and Underground (though this part is Overground) station, a mere six minutes away for direct access to the City of London financial district, great for any expats in London working there.
