Frequently Asked Questions

You have a question? We have an answer.

Can I rent an apartment in Valencia with a pet?

At Globexs, we offer a selection of furnished apartments in Valencia, some of which are pet-friendly.

If you're planning to move with a dog or cat, simply let our team know during the inquiry stage, and we’ll help you find a rental where pets are welcome. We'll also take into account factors like access to green spaces or nearby parks to ensure a good fit for you and your pet.

In some cases, owners may ask for a higher deposit or an additional cleaning fee when pets are involved. But don’t worry — our team will clearly communicate all conditions before booking.

At Globexs, we love pets and we understand how important it is to find a temporary home where every member of the family feels welcome — even the furry ones.

Can I rent in Spain without a NIE (Número de Identificación de Extranjero)?

Yes, you can rent an apartment in Spain without a NIE, especially when booking through Globexs. A NIE (Número de Identificación de Extranjero) is required for official and long-term procedures in Spain — such as opening a bank account, signing an employment contract, or registering with the local authorities — but it is not mandatory for short- or mid-term rentals.

Renting without a NIE – how it works

Globexs specializes in mid-term furnished rentals for expats, remote workers, and international professionals, and we understand that many of our clients arrive in Spain before obtaining their NIE. That’s why our rental process is flexible and designed to remove unnecessary bureaucracy.

  • You can rent with just a passport or national ID

  • No Spanish residency or NIE required for Globexs contracts

  • Payment can be made via international bank transfer or card

  • Our rental agreements are legally valid and compliant with Spanish regulations

Need help with documentation?

Legal immigration consultancy.

Globexs counts with an important and reputed legal department. We help companies and expats with the paperwork and administration related to moving abroad.

Our experienced immigration lawyers can assist you with NIE applications and any other legal documentation related to your stay in Spain — including residence registration, visa support, or tax questions.

Is a deposit required to book an apartment?
Yes, a security deposit is required when booking a furnished apartment through Globexs in Spain. This deposit acts as a financial guarantee to ensure the apartment is returned in good condition and that all terms of the rental agreement are respected.

How much is the deposit?

The amount of the rental deposit depends on the specific apartment and its owner. In most cases, it is equal to one month’s rent, but some properties may require up to €750 or two months’ rent, especially for longer stays or premium units. The exact amount will always be clearly communicated before booking.

What is the purpose of the deposit?

The deposit covers:

  • Any potential damages to the property

  • Violations of the rental contract

  • Costs that may occur if the apartment is not returned in its original condition

If no issues are reported at check-out and all terms have been followed, the deposit is fully refundable.

When is the deposit refunded?

Globexs processes the refund by bank transfer after the tenant checks out. The refund period ranges from 5 to 30 days, depending on the release of the final utility bills. We aim to process all refunds as quickly as possible.

Is insurance included?

No, tenants are not insured through Globexs. We strongly recommend arranging personal travel or contents insuranceto cover loss, theft, or accidental damage, as Globexs does not provide insurance coverage for tenants.

Some apartments include regular cleaning services as part of the monthly rental price, while others offer it as an optional add-on. If having professional cleaning is important to you during your stay in Valencia, let our team know — we’ll match you with a property that meets your preferences.
