GURU I is a furnished Bilbao apartment with parking. It is a modern 2 bedroom apartment in Barakaldo. This ground floor apartment is great for expats who travel with a family. The apartment is very well decorated and could come right out of a design book. All the spaces in this apartment are decorated with space and tranquillity in mind. The tile floors through the apartment keep the temperature moderate throughout the year. It is located in the neighbourhood just north of Bilbao which is very accessible by public transport or highway.
The centrally located living room is great for family gatherings or to entertain friends. The living room is completely separated by doors from all other rooms so it is great for when you have early risers in the family who do not want to be bothered by TV noises. The living room is very well renovated and decorated. It has a comfortable sofa and flatscreen TV.
Adjacent to the living room, through the glass doors, you will enter a spacious kitchen that comes completely equipped with all necessary kitchenware. This colourful kitchen is also equipped with stainless steel appliances such as a dishwasher, a large fridge/freezer and washing machine. The kitchen table sits up to 4 people.
The master bedroom is equipped with a fantastic double bed. The large closet in the master bedroom is perfect to store your clothes for every type of weather. The second bedroom has a single bed that can transform into a double if required. In this room, you will find a spacious wardrobe.
The cosy renovated bathroom is very convenient. It comes with a walk-in shower.
The Bilbao apartment is very close to the metro and highway connection. It is very easy to come and go by public transport or by car. You will be located just under a 20 minutes walk to the botanical garden which is worth a visit during your stay.
Tourists visit sites in Barakaldo such as the Botanic Garden, the Bilbao Exhibition Centre, the medieval Bridge of Castrexana, and some of the city’s street sculptures. In July, the town celebrates “Las Fiestas del Carmen,” which includes open-air concerts and large fairs
Bilboa is becoming a hotspot for digital nomads and keyboard warriors. It is the home of the Guggenheim museum and other architectural landmarks that are admired all over the world.
Bilboa is located in the middle of the Basque region.
The Basque region might be one of the most interesting regions in Europe. It spans between France and Spain. For surfers, it is a paradise in Europe as it one of the only regions where the waves break well enough to surf the surf.
Basque is also known around the world for its amazing food culture. You will find plenty of high-end and low-end restaurants. Both will blow you off your socks and you basically can not go wrong when you walk into a restaurant in the area.
The nature of the Basque region is beautiful and is submerged in green forests, parks and meadows. Keep in mind that the region has a milder temperature compared to the south of Spain and it rains a lot more.
Basque is considered one of the oldest civilisations in the world and Euskara is one of the oldest languages spoken. Linguistically, Euskara is unrelated to the other languages of Europe and is a language isolate to any other known living language.
