Location details

Live in the Real Madrid, away from touristy crowded places such as Gran Vía. The area of Chamberi became famous for having a lot of cinemas or movie theatres. It also hosted a lot of film festivals because of that. Despite the closure of the famous Renoir Cuatro Caminos, other movie theatres are still betting on the seventh art. And not only does the art of filmmaking stay alive in Chamberí, but this area also hosts some of the best theatres in the city, such as the Canal.

As for the museums, where they coexist with beautiful art galleries like the Sorolla (don’t miss their garden) to other less conventional ones such as the Geominero or the Andén Cero, which includes a visit to the ghost metro station of Chamberí. The architectural style is unique in all of Madrid, since to its stately buildings with immense floors of very high ceilings, a large number of modernist and neo-Mudejar buildings are added.

For the active expat, you are just a few blocks away from Santander Park. This park is perfect for walking or jogging because of the availability of the track. This park also houses tennis courts, soccer fields, a playground, and a café. Simply perfect for any morning workout or to read the newspaper with a cup of coffee.
