Location details

This rental flat in Antwerp is located in the Van Beethovenstraat, in the neighborhood Groen Kwartier (Green Quarter). The area has been revived after renovating the old field hospital and making it home to restaurants, bars, and residences. The majority of this neighborhood is pedestrian so expats who travel with kids can sleep soundly letting their kids play outside. It is still centrally located but as the name suggests, the area comes with a lot of green and parks.

The apartment is located very close to public transport. There are 5 tramlines closeby that bring you to all corners of Antwerp. There is also an A-Velo stand closeby (bike sharing). The apartment is also close to a gym, supermarket, bakery, co-working office, and several outstanding restaurants.

You will have three parks within walking distance: Harmonie, King Albert, and Vinkenhof. 

Harmonie

Smaller park next to King Albert but comes with a large playground.

King Albert

Although in the middle of a busy street, this park offers a great green lung in the busy city. Plenty of grass perks to picnic. In the middle of the park, you can find a small pavilion.

Vinkenhof

Vinkenhof is a more tranquil park. In the summer you can find some senior citizens play Jeux-de-boules here.
