Beethoven is a great expat rental flat in Antwerp. This apartment is in a brand new building and is beautifully decorated. The apartment has high-quality materials all over the place such as hardwood floors and stainless steel appliances. The two bathrooms make the apartment perfect for a roommate situation or expat families traveling with older children who appreciate their own privacy. The use of green plants around this bright apartment generates an oasis of tranquillity in the middle of a bustling city.
It is easy to feel invited when you enter this lively apartment’s living room and kitchen. The floor-to-ceiling windows, that lead to the balcony allow natural light to come in and brighten up the room. The living room has a snug sofa and flows perfectly into the fully equipped kitchen. The design throughout this room is very modern and you can find some unique accents in the dining area. The dining area is equipped with a table and six chairs.
The outdoor patio is great for launching year-round. Although we suggest using a blanket in the winter. The open view of the street is perfect for people watching and outdoor furniture is very comfortable. The master bedroom comes equipped with a comfortable double bed and all bedding included. Closest to the master bedroom, you can find the master bathroom which comes with a shower-tub combination and a his-and-her sink. The guest room comes with a single bed and bedding included. The bathroom for the guest room is equipped with a walk-in shower.
Expats who rent this rental flat in Antwerp, will also have access to the beautiful community garden.
The apartment offers optional access to a parking garage for a small surplus of €120 per month.
This rental flat in Antwerp is beautiful. The design and flow of the apartment are great. It is in a great new, family-friendly neighborhood. This terrace is a great outdoor space. (Personally, verified by the Globexs team)
This rental flat in Antwerp is located in the Van Beethovenstraat, in the neighborhood Groen Kwartier (Green Quarter). The area has been revived after renovating the old field hospital and making it home to restaurants, bars, and residences. The majority of this neighborhood is pedestrian so expats who travel with kids can sleep soundly letting their kids play outside. It is still centrally located but as the name suggests, the area comes with a lot of green and parks.
The apartment is located very close to public transport. There are 5 tramlines closeby that bring you to all corners of Antwerp. There is also an A-Velo stand closeby (bike sharing). The apartment is also close to a gym, supermarket, bakery, co-working office, and several outstanding restaurants.
You will have three parks within walking distance: Harmonie, King Albert, and Vinkenhof.
Smaller park next to King Albert but comes with a large playground.
Although in the middle of a busy street, this park offers a great green lung in the busy city. Plenty of grass perks to picnic. In the middle of the park, you can find a small pavilion.
Vinkenhof is a more tranquil park. In the summer you can find some senior citizens play Jeux-de-boules here.
