Island 3 is a luxury home in Antwerp for expats. It is a modern furnished 2 bedroom apartment in a prime location. The area is called “’t Eilandje” and has recently been completely redeveloped. This apartment stands out because of the two terraces that overlook some of the small docks that define the area. It is great to be surrounded by water. The apartment is decorated in real luxury. The design and finishes are great. The apartment is perfect for couples, a small family, single expat who appreciate the extra bedroom or two people working for the same company.

When you enter this bright apartment, you will notice the amount of natural light that penetrates the living room through the balcony doors. The comfortable design sofa and armchairs match perfectly with the layout and style of the living room. In the living room, you can also find a large dining table that sits up to six people very comfortably. Perfect for the expat who enjoys to entertain or cook for other people.

The open kitchen has a great cooking island that allows you to allows interact with your guests. The built-in, stainless steel appliances look very sleek in the off-white kitchen. The high stools at the cooking island are great for breakfast or a quick snack. This kitchen comes fully equipped with all kitchenware.

Both bedrooms come with a comfortable double bed and bedding. You will find ample storage space in the built-in wardrobes.

The centrally located bathroom boasts of luxury with a separate design tub and walk-in rain shower. The his-and-hers sink makes morning and evening routines a lot easier.

Some of the complaints in this area are about parking which you don’t have to worry about because of the private parking spot that comes with the apartment.

DESCRIPTION LOCATION

The luxury home in Antwerp is situated in the popular neighborhood “’t Eilandje” which roughly translates in “the small island” referring to the water around the area. The apartment has a unique triple view: MAS, Kattendijkdok and the Schelde. The MAS is the eye-catcher with its unique design. The marina is surrounded by old warehouse buildings that host some of the most prestigious companies in Belgium such as Dries Van Noten. Make sure to explore the national archive located in the “Felix Pakhuis”. 

The redevelopment of this area started in the early 2000s and even created a large park which is in walking distance from the yacht harbour. In 2019, they even opened a pedestrian bridge that connects “‘t Eilandje” with this park called “Park Spoor Noord” referring to when it was part of the railroad system.
