This penthouse for expats in Valencia is the top floor of a beautiful, century-old house from the modernist era in a very central neighborhood with a lively local population. The apartment has a combined bedroom and study and is very spacious: with a separate storage room, dressing room, large terrace and two bathrooms (both with WC and shower). The apartment was completely renovated in 2023 and has not been lived in to date. During the renovation, great importance was attached to the preservation or refreshment of original building elements (e.g. the wooden doors, screens and hydraulic tiles). The kitchen has an induction hob as well as a separate microwave, oven and dishwasher. The fridge has 3 large freezer compartments. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer on the spacious wooden deck exterior terrace.

The apartment has electric underfloor heating for cold days, where you can adjust the temperature in various rooms. In the warmer months, the apartment can be optimally ventilated through the windows, as it is open to the street at the front and to the backyard at the rear by the terrace, which ensures perfect air circulation. A remote-controlled fan is also installed above the double bed. The glass sliding wall allows the apartment to be opened to the terrace in warm weather, so that you can almost feel like you are outside.

The 1 bedroom apartment in Petxina is equipped with Wi-Fi, a state-of-the-art 43” smart TV (LG) and two smart SONOS speakers (controllable via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth). The study has an electrically height-adjustable desk so that you can also work standing up.

Frequently Asked Questions

You have a question? We have an answer.

Is public transport easily accessible from the apartments?

Yes, public transportation is easily accessible from most apartments offered by Globexs in Valencia. One of the key advantages of living in Valencia is its well-developed and reliable public transport system, which includes metro lines, bus routes, and trams.

Most of our mid-term rental properties are located within walking distance of metro stations, bus stops, or tram lines. This makes it easy for tenants to commute across the city, whether for work, study, or leisure, without the need for a car.

In addition to public transport, Valencia is one of the most bike-friendly cities in Spain. The city has an extensive network of dedicated cycling lanes, and bike-sharing systems like Valenbisi make it convenient and affordable to get around on two wheels.

Popular neighborhoods such as Ruzafa, El Cabanyal, and El Carmen offer excellent mobility and connectivity. From these areas, tenants have easy access to public transportation, supermarkets, coworking spaces, cafés, and essential public services.

Can I register at the apartment address (empadronamiento)?
No, unfortunately, empadronamiento (official address registration) is generally not allowed in the apartments offered by Globexs. Our rentals are specifically intended for temporary use, and most landlords do not support official residence registration. If you need to register for immigration or bureaucratic purposes, we recommend contacting our legal relocation team, who can advise you on alternative options in the city.

What if I need empadronamiento for immigration or administrative purposes?

If you need to register your address for immigration procedures, residency applications, or other bureaucratic reasons, please contact our legal relocation team. They will advise you on possible solutions and help you understand your options.

Get in touch with our legal experts to receive personalized guidance.

Why is empadronamiento not possible with Globexs rentals?

Empadronamiento is typically reserved for long-term or permanent housing, while Globexs specializes in mid-term rentals for expats, remote workers, and digital nomads. Our properties are designed for flexible, temporary stays — not for official residence registration.

Summary

  • Empadronamiento is not allowed in any Globexs apartment.

  • Our rentals are strictly for temporary accommodation.

  • If you require address registration, our legal team can help you explore your options.

What is the cost of living in Valencia for expats?

Valencia is one of the most affordable major cities in Spain, making it a popular choice for expats, students, and remote workers looking for a high quality of life at a reasonable cost.

Housing costs

On average, a furnished mid-term rental in Valencia through Globexs costs between €700 and €2000 per month, depending on the size, location, and duration of the stay.

Daily expenses

In addition to affordable rent, public transport in Valencia is low-cost, grocery prices are budget-friendly, and healthcare is high-quality yet inexpensive for residents.

Better value than Madrid or Barcelona

Compared to Madrid or Barcelona, your euro goes further in Valencia — without sacrificing comfort, lifestyle, or essential services. That’s why the city is increasingly popular among digital nomads and professionals relocating to Spain.

How do I book a Globexs apartment and what documentation do I need?

Booking a furnished apartment in Valencia for expats and digital nomads with Globexs is a simple and secure process. To protect both tenant and owner, we request basic documentation before confirming any booking.

Step 1 – Get in touch with our team

You can browse available apartments on our website or contact us directly for a personalized housing proposal. One of our rental agents will assist you based on your needs, travel dates, and budget.

Step 2 – Submit your documents

Depending on your situation (professional, freelancer, student, etc.), you’ll be asked to provide:

  • A valid passport or national ID

  • Your current residential address

  • Proof of income (employment contract, payslips, or company letter)

  • Freelancers or entrepreneurs: recent bank statements or proof of ongoing contracts

  • Students/interns: enrollment certificate and financial guarantor details (if applicable)

We use this information to verify your identity and solvency, helping to ensure a transparent experience for all parties involved.

Step 3 – Sign the rental agreement and confirm payment

Once your documents are approved, you’ll receive a rental contract and proforma invoice. The booking is officially confirmed once the initial payment is received.

Step 4 – Prepare for check-in

Before arrival, the Globexs rental agent will coordinate with the apartment owner to arrange your check-in time. The Globexs agent monitors the whole process, and remains the contact person for both the owner and the tenant during the complete duration of the rental.

Is cleaning service included?
Some apartments include regular cleaning services as part of the monthly rental price, while others offer it as an optional add-on. If having professional cleaning is important to you during your stay in Valencia, let our team know — we’ll match you with a property that meets your preferences. Keeping a clean, comfortable space is essential for remote workers and expats, especially during longer stays.
