DESCRIPTION LOCATION

This expat rental is located in Ruzafa (or Russafa in Valencian language), a vibrant neighborhood and a mere resemblance of what was an area to avoid ten years ago. Expats in Valencia love this area because of the local flavour and diversity mixed together. Ruzafa is filled with bars, restaurants, terraces, boutique shops and galleries from around the world and is very welcomed by the young traveler or local resident.

Ruzafa is conveniently connected to the Gran Via that connects the city center with the beach or any other part of Valencia. Walking distance from the Nord Station (the most central station) and Joaquin Soralla which gives you access to other cities or airports in the area. Ruzafa is mostly the first choice for foreigners who come to live in Valencia.

The furnished penthouse in Valencia for expats is close to the Mercat Russafa which is the smaller sibling of the Mercat Central that you can find in the city center. Mercats are open daily, except on Sundays during the morning and is where local farmers, butchers, bakers, fisherman etc come and sell their fresh products. This is a unique and economical option from the supermarkets that are available in around you.

Are you an expat? If so, do not hesitate and join our Facebook group "Expats living and working in Valencia", run by Globexs. There you can interact and talk with many other expats like yourself :)

What is the cost of living in Valencia for expats?

Valencia is one of the most affordable major cities in Spain, making it a popular choice for expats, students, and remote workers looking for a high quality of life at a reasonable cost.

Housing costs

On average, a furnished mid-term rental in Valencia through Globexs costs between €700 and €2000 per month, depending on the size, location, and duration of the stay.

Daily expenses

In addition to affordable rent, public transport in Valencia is low-cost, grocery prices are budget-friendly, and healthcare is high-quality yet inexpensive for residents.

Better value than Madrid or Barcelona

Compared to Madrid or Barcelona, your euro goes further in Valencia — without sacrificing comfort, lifestyle, or essential services. That’s why the city is increasingly popular among digital nomads and professionals relocating to Spain.

Is public transport easily accessible from the apartments?

Yes, public transportation is easily accessible from most apartments offered by Globexs in Valencia. One of the key advantages of living in Valencia is its well-developed and reliable public transport system, which includes metro lines, bus routes, and trams.

Most of our mid-term rental properties are located within walking distance of metro stations, bus stops, or tram lines. This makes it easy for tenants to commute across the city, whether for work, study, or leisure, without the need for a car.

In addition to public transport, Valencia is one of the most bike-friendly cities in Spain. The city has an extensive network of dedicated cycling lanes, and bike-sharing systems like Valenbisi make it convenient and affordable to get around on two wheels.

Popular neighborhoods such as Ruzafa, El Cabanyal, and El Carmen offer excellent mobility and connectivity. From these areas, tenants have easy access to public transportation, supermarkets, coworking spaces, cafés, and essential public services.
