The expat apartment in the heart of the city comprises one bedroom with double bed and supreme quality bed linen, a bathroom with towels provided, and a modern kitchen with all appliances. This is on of our best places to enjoy the third biggest city of Spain. 

Your boutique apartment offers favorable conditions for working from home. WiFi ready, the living room gives plenty of freedom to have a sit down on the sofa and to get to work. If you rather have a table to work at, you can work at the kitchen table or the desk space in the corner next to the balcony. Either way, this apartment for expats has everything you need to work in comfort remotely.

There is air conditioning to keep your head cool and heating to keep it nice and warm on those cold winter mornings and evenings. If you want to catch some fresh air you do not need to leave the building. You can enjoy the great views from the balcony overlooking the friendly streets of the old neighborhood. The door-length windows open to let the rays of sunlight spread across the room.

The open plan kitchen is complete with all the equipment, appliances, and tools you need for your food prepping. Once you have prepared your breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can enjoy it around the kitchen table. 

This 1 bedroom boutique apartment has all the things you want. Lack of space is not an issue in your new modern designed home. The sleek white design throughout the apartment in combination with the wooden beams give it that perfect modern though homely feeling we are all looking for. The bedroom has a double bed and a spacious built-in wardrobe that takes up the entire hight of the wall.

Other than most bathrooms in flats in the area, this one is rather roomy. You will not feel closed in while singing in the walk-in shower. The lack of doors or curtains, provides a smooth transition from the rest of the bathroom into the shower. This also adds a minimalist contemporary design to your bathroom whilst maximising use of space.

This luxury boutique apartment has a fantastic location: Right in the middle of the historic city centre, in a quiet pedestrian street near Plaza Tossal. This area is often referred to as “El Carmen”. It is the area between the Main train station (Estación del Norte), the bullfight ring (Plaza de Toros), Calle Colon, the old river bed (Rio Turia), The Torres de Serrano and the Torres de Quart. El Carmen is growing to be one of the busiest touristic places in Europe. An abundance of artisanal shops, local bars, exquisite restaurants, winding streets and ancient ruins make El Carmen one of the finest examples of a Spanish old town.

The amount of the rental deposit depends on the specific apartment and its owner. In most cases, it is equal to one month’s rent, but some properties may require up to €750 or two months’ rent, especially for longer stays or premium units. The exact amount will always be clearly communicated before booking.

What is the purpose of the deposit?

The deposit covers:

  • Any potential damages to the property

  • Violations of the rental contract

  • Costs that may occur if the apartment is not returned in its original condition

If no issues are reported at check-out and all terms have been followed, the deposit is fully refundable.

When is the deposit refunded?

Globexs processes the refund by bank transfer after the tenant checks out. The refund period ranges from 5 to 30 days, depending on the release of the final utility bills. We aim to process all refunds as quickly as possible.

Is insurance included?

No, tenants are not insured through Globexs. We strongly recommend arranging personal travel or contents insuranceto cover loss, theft, or accidental damage, as Globexs does not provide insurance coverage for tenants.

Step 2 – Submit your documents

Depending on your situation (professional, freelancer, student, etc.), you’ll be asked to provide:

  • A valid passport or national ID

  • Your current residential address

  • Proof of income (employment contract, payslips, or company letter)

  • Freelancers or entrepreneurs: recent bank statements or proof of ongoing contracts

  • Students/interns: enrollment certificate and financial guarantor details (if applicable)

We use this information to verify your identity and solvency, helping to ensure a transparent experience for all parties involved.

Step 3 – Sign the rental agreement and confirm payment

Once your documents are approved, you’ll receive a rental contract and proforma invoice. The booking is officially confirmed once the initial payment is received.

Step 4 – Prepare for check-in

Before arrival, the Globexs rental agent will coordinate with the apartment owner to arrange your check-in time. The Globexs agent monitors the whole process, and remains the contact person for both the owner and the tenant during the complete duration of the rental.
