Support and information for your rental period.
Your Globexs rental agent is your contact person during your stay. You can always contact your Globexs rental agent if:
Of course, as a tenant you have direct access to the owner. You meet the owner during the checkin process, and you have previously exchanged contact details. But if the communication with the owner is not as easy as needed, the rental agents can help.
Tenants sometimes ask why the amount they pay is not the same every month. Here are the most common reasons monthly payments can differ from one month to the next:
If your first or final rental period does not cover a full calendar month, the rent for that month is calculated proportionally based on the number of days. For example, if you check in on the 15th, your first month's rent only covers the days from the 15th to the end of that month.
Tenants pay a one-time linen fee of €150 together with the invoice for the first month's rent. As a result, your first monthly payment is €150 higher than the regular monthly rent.
Globexs publishes reference prices on the website for transparency, but there is no fixed formula behind these prices. The final price you pay is explicitly negotiated and agreed for each booking, and depends on factors such as:
This is why the monthly rent may vary between different bookings of the same property. The amount agreed in your rental contract is the amount you pay each month, apart from the pro rata adjustments and additional fees described above.
If you have specific questions about your invoice or payment, your Globexs rental agent is your contact person and will be happy to clarify any items.
When a tenant chooses a Globexs rental apartment, Globexs holds the deposit during the stay. On the other hand, if the owner is on a “partner plan” Globexs does not get involved in the actual booking process, nor the deposit.
This is the Globexs deposit policy (for Globexs apartments only): To assure the good and complete fulfillment of his/her obligations under this agreement, the tenant is obliged to pay a deposit at the moment of the booking. The amount of this deposit is decided by the owner and is usually between 750€ and 2 months rent.
The deposit will be refunded by bank transfer to the tenant after check-out, but only if the tenant has completely fulfilled his/her obligations under this agreement if no damages are being made to the property if the house rules have been respected and the property is left behind in the same conditions as upon arrival. The deposit will be refunded as soon as possible within a minimum of 5 days. But it can take as long as a maximum of 30 days after check-out because we have to wait for the energy bills of the last month.
