´Pont de Fusta´ is a furnished 2 bedroom duplex apartment near the old town. This nice duplex apartment is great if you are looking for a big apartment during your time in Valencia. The terrace that this apartment offers is unique and is a big eye-catcher for everybody. This apartment comes with two bedrooms that both have a double bed and two bathrooms for everybody’s privacy.

The location just across of the river Turia is great as this is a tranquil area but you are steps away from the hustle and bustle of the city. When you watch the video and the pictures of this apartment, you can not not notice the multilevel rooftop terrace. It spans over the complete roof and is in typical Spanish style overlooking the city. This rooftop terrace is great for entertaining, relaxing or even cooking. The terrace has a complete outdoor kitchen and a big dining table that sits up to 6 people very comfortably. It is also the location of your washer. The patio also comes with two comfortable lawn chairs.

When you enter the apartment, you will enter the living room that has two comfortable sofas. The front window can open to a small balcony and you will overlook the public transport station that can bring you anywhere in the city, even to the beach.

The fully equipped open kitchen is adjacent directly to the living room. It is separated from the living room by a small dining room table that sits four people. The kitchen comes with all appliances, such as a dishwasher, and kitchenware included. Just outside the kitchen, you will find the first bedroom that we suggest could be used a master bedroom due to its storage space. The second bedroom upstairs has access to the balcony so depending on who stays in the apartment and occupies the upstairs apartment, you might want to switch destinations of the bedrooms. Both bedroom are equipped with a comfortable double bed and bedding.

While on the second floor the bedroom has the bathroom en-suite, the downstairs bathroom is just across the hall. Both bathrooms have a sink, toilet and walk-in shower. This is a unique and spacious apartment for rent in Valencia.

DESCRIPTION LOCATION

The area close to this apartment is often referred to as “El Carmen”. It marks the area between the main train station (Estación del Norte), the bullfight ring, Calle Colon, the Riu Turia, The Torres de Serrano and the Torres de Quart. El Carmen is one of the oldest areas in Valencia and one of the most interesting for those who enjoy a walk through history. Although most of the historic city is referred to as El Carmen, the real gems are found more north of the centre.

A photographer, architect or artist’s dream can be found here when walking through the numerous small streets that are covered with graffiti or just to take in the architecture that can be found in- or outside of these buildings.

Make sure to visit the El Carmen Museum which is free and is located in an old monastery. The exhibits that are held here vary from classic but most of the time they are very modern and urban.

Frequently Asked Questions

You have a question? We have an answer.

What is the cost of living in Valencia for expats?

Valencia is one of the most affordable major cities in Spain, making it a popular choice for expats, students, and remote workers looking for a high quality of life at a reasonable cost.

Housing costs

On average, a furnished mid-term rental in Valencia through Globexs costs between €700 and €2000 per month, depending on the size, location, and duration of the stay.

Daily expenses

In addition to affordable rent, public transport in Valencia is low-cost, grocery prices are budget-friendly, and healthcare is high-quality yet inexpensive for residents.

Better value than Madrid or Barcelona

Compared to Madrid or Barcelona, your euro goes further in Valencia — without sacrificing comfort, lifestyle, or essential services. That’s why the city is increasingly popular among digital nomads and professionals relocating to Spain.

Is cleaning service included?
Some apartments include regular cleaning services as part of the monthly rental price, while others offer it as an optional add-on. If having professional cleaning is important to you during your stay in Valencia, let our team know — we’ll match you with a property that meets your preferences. Keeping a clean, comfortable space is essential for remote workers and expats, especially during longer stays.
Is public transport easily accessible from the apartments?

Yes, public transportation is easily accessible from most apartments offered by Globexs in Valencia. One of the key advantages of living in Valencia is its well-developed and reliable public transport system, which includes metro lines, bus routes, and trams.

Most of our mid-term rental properties are located within walking distance of metro stations, bus stops, or tram lines. This makes it easy for tenants to commute across the city, whether for work, study, or leisure, without the need for a car.

In addition to public transport, Valencia is one of the most bike-friendly cities in Spain. The city has an extensive network of dedicated cycling lanes, and bike-sharing systems like Valenbisi make it convenient and affordable to get around on two wheels.

Popular neighborhoods such as Ruzafa, El Cabanyal, and El Carmen offer excellent mobility and connectivity. From these areas, tenants have easy access to public transportation, supermarkets, coworking spaces, cafés, and essential public services.

Why should I rent through Globexs and not Airbnb or Booking.com?

Globexs is not a tourist rental platform — we specialize in mid-term housing for expats, digital nomads, and remote professionals. Unlike Airbnb or Booking.com, which focus on short-term vacation stays, Globexs provides fully furnished, legally compliant apartments designed specifically for people relocating to Spain for one to eleven months.

What makes Globexs different?

  • Verified apartments only – Every property is personally checked by our team or trusted partners

  • Legal rental contracts – No uncertainty or informal arrangements

  • Flexible terms – Designed for stays of 1 to 11 months, with extensions possible

  • Local support – Our multilingual team is based in Valencia and offers assistance before, during, and after your stay

  • Relocation services – We help with empadronamiento guidance, legal advice, and connecting you to the local expat community

  • No tourist hassle – Our platform is built for professionals, not tourists

Peace of mind for international tenants

Renting through Globexs means you’re not just booking a place to sleep — you’re choosing a professional and secure rental experience tailored to your lifestyle. Whether you're working remotely, relocating for a project, or exploring a new chapter abroad, we offer far more than just a booking engine.

Our clients choose us because they value transparency, support, and a hassle-free move to Spain. With Globexs, you’ll feel at home — even before you arrive.

Is a deposit required to book an apartment?
Yes, a security deposit is required when booking a furnished apartment through Globexs in Spain. This deposit acts as a financial guarantee to ensure the apartment is returned in good condition and that all terms of the rental agreement are respected.

How much is the deposit?

The amount of the rental deposit depends on the specific apartment and its owner. In most cases, it is equal to one month’s rent, but some properties may require up to €750 or two months’ rent, especially for longer stays or premium units. The exact amount will always be clearly communicated before booking.

What is the purpose of the deposit?

The deposit covers:

  • Any potential damages to the property

  • Violations of the rental contract

  • Costs that may occur if the apartment is not returned in its original condition

If no issues are reported at check-out and all terms have been followed, the deposit is fully refundable.

When is the deposit refunded?

Globexs processes the refund by bank transfer after the tenant checks out. The refund period ranges from 5 to 30 days, depending on the release of the final utility bills. We aim to process all refunds as quickly as possible.

Is insurance included?

No, tenants are not insured through Globexs. We strongly recommend arranging personal travel or contents insuranceto cover loss, theft, or accidental damage, as Globexs does not provide insurance coverage for tenants.
