This duplex apartment for expats in Valencia is a bright, furnished duplex apartment with 2 bedrooms. Its open duplex/loft style is ideal for the trendy digital nomad. You will enter this apartment on the top floor of a 3-story building. You will notice the natural light that comes in through the skylight and glass balcony door. The high ceilings are offering a great spacious feeling. The hard floors assist to reflect the light throughout the room. The apartment breaths the culture of this trendy neighbourhood.
It is not easy to find a duplex apartment for expats in Valencia that is located smack in the middle of the trendiest and most sought-after neighbourhood in Valencia which is called Ruzafa. Ruzafa is Valencia’s answer to gentrification and is home to some of the most popular bars, clubs, and restaurants.
This ideal apartment for expats is located on the top floor of the building and is barely connected to any neighbours so the apartment is very quiet at night. The spacious laid out living room connects the dining room and comes with a small balcony that oversees the street where you can check whether there’s room on the terrace across the street or not. The separate kitchen overlooks the interior of the apartment buildings. Even these views can be spectacular and are typical to Valencia. Although small, the kitchen comes with all necessities that a digital nomad would like such as toaster, gas stove and oven, microwave and washing machine. Also attached to the dining room, are the bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and sink. Next to the bathroom is access to the second bedroom that comes with a single bed and is perfect for the light sleeper as the room is very dark.
The upstairs floor or the mezzanine houses the master bedroom and comes with two spacious closets. Because of the mezzanine layout, it gives you the spacious feeling all throughout the apartment but also allows for privacy when living with more people.
And of course, fast wifi for the most demanding professionals working from home. After all, expats and digital nomads are the ambassadors of progress, right?
In the first place, we like the vibrant neighbourhood where all the action is happening, but the apartment is quiet because it is on the top floor. The design of this apartment is very trendy and attracts a lot of young minded people. (The Globexs team has personally visited and checked this apartment)
This apartment is located in Ruzafa, the bohemian neighborhood of Valencia. Ruzafa (or Russafa in Valencian language) is a vibrant neighborhood and a mere resemblance of what was an area to avoid ten years ago. Expats in Valencia love this area because of the local flavour and diversity mixed together. Ruzafa is filled with bars, restaurants, terraces, boutique shops and galleries from around the world and is very welcomed by the young traveler or local resident. Ruzafa is conveniently connected to the Gran Via that connects the city center with the beach or any other part of Valencia. Walking distance from the Nord Station (the most central station) and Joaquin Soralla which gives you access to other cities or airports in the area.
The apartment is close to the Mercat Russafa which is the smaller sibling of the Mercat Central that you can find in the city center. Mercats are open daily, except on Sundays during the morning and is where local farmers, butchers, bakers, fisherman etc come and sell their fresh products. This is a unique and economical option from the supermarkets that are available in around you. Also, if you are lucky, you might run into some of the famous chefs that call Valencia home such as Ricard Camarena and Quique Dacosta
