Bilboa is becoming a hotspot for digital nomads and keyboard warriors. It is the home of the Guggenheim museum and other architectural landmarks that are admired all over the world.
Bilboa is located in the middle of the Basque region.
The Basque region might be one of the most interesting regions in Europe. It spans between France and Spain. For surfers, it is a paradise in Europe as it one of the only regions where the waves break well enough to surf the surf.
Basque is also known around the world for its amazing food culture. You will find plenty of high-end and low-end restaurants. Both will blow you off your socks and you basically can not go wrong when you walk into a restaurant in the area.
The nature of the Basque region is beautiful and is submerged in green forests, parks and meadows. Keep in mind that the region has a milder temperature compared to the south of Spain and it rains a lot more.
Basque is considered one of the oldest civilisations in the world and Euskara is one of the oldest languages spoken. Linguistically, Euskara is unrelated to the other languages of Europe and is a language isolate to any other known living language.
