Recently we had the honor to welcome Eugene Costello from the newspaper The Valencian in our offices to talk about the Guided Remote Working Programs that were recently launched by Globexs.

We have summarized the interview with Lodewijk Cuypers, founder of Globexs, for you.

What are Guided Remote Working Programs?

Guided Remote Working Programs are à la carte training and development programs in which the employees have the opportunity to travel and work at the same time, within a frame set by the employer and controlled by Globexs.

The goal is to immerse the employee in the company culture of the employer, and to increase the productivity and company loyalty of the participants.

The response to current HR trends

“Nowadays young people want more than money, they want flexibility, they don’t want to go to an office – or at least, not every day – they don’t want to have a 9-5 job, or at least not every day.”

Since the pandemic and even before that, this was already becoming a trend. It’s the logical blending of being corporate with the undoubted lifestyle benefits of being a digital nomad. And the current technology allows these two aspects to blend. But the real question is: How do you manage this as a company? 

This is where the Guided Remote Working Programs come in!

The programs are designed and customised to the needs of the companies and are set up in consultation with the HR departments to offer overseas placements to their employees, without the company losing any of the control.
